Apollo & Daphne
The Baroque Society invites you to a glittering evening in the magical Thessalian forests, performing Handel’s iconic early work Apollo & Daphne. Greek mythology, metamorphoses, and Handel’s finest grooves!
Apollo and Daphne is based on the Greek myth of the sun god Apollo, who is drawn to the nymph Daphne. His feelings are unanswered, leading to her fateful transformation - or metamorphosis, if you will - into a… laurel tree.

Late Night Baroque
Our very own concert series and music laboratory! Hidden musical treasures meets playful improvisations and an open bar.
First one out was Late Night Baroque - TBS feat Jakob Kullberg. An evening with the best of Georg Muffat, Tomaso Albinoni (yes, the glorious Sinfonie a Cinque!), John Dowland, and a couple of brand new songs (written especially for this occasion!) by Jakob Kullberg himself.
Stay tuned for the next fairytales! -
NATALE // Christmas special
We head south - to the snowy French Alps and Muffat's magical universe - and all the way to Rome and the pastoral sounds of Corelli. Deep within the labyrinths of Venice, we are captured by Tomaso Albinoni's Sinfonie a cinque - music that warms the heart and soul. We end our Advent journey in Naples with the masterful Alessandro Scarlatti. The chances are high that we will slip past Nürnberg and Pachelbel on the way back - but stop! - we don't play the canon you already know - we have new treasures in stock... Do you dare? We look forward to it! And promises lots of southern Christmas atmosphere, of course.
