The Baroque Society is a Copenhagen-based baroque band. With sparkling virtuosity, playful improvisations and daring musical concepts, we explore hidden musical treasures alongside a fresh, vivid take on baroque and renaissance classics.
“Expectations were high - but not high enough! What a brilliant evening, both the individual items and for the flow and variety of the program. More please!”

Our 2026 season is made possible thanks to the following foundations: Statens Kunstfond (Danish Arts Foundation), A. P Møller Fonden, Augustinus Fonden, William Demant Fonden, Knud Højgaards Fond, Aage og Johanne Louis Hansen-Fonden, Wilhelm Hansen Fonden, Beckett Fonden, Enid Ingemanns Fond, Dansk Tennis Fond, Kulturpuljen Gentofte, Solistforeningen af 1921 & Art Music Denmark.
We acknowledge our mother earth and the impact we have on her. Therefore we’ve decided to buy(!) 20m2 of forest for every concert we play. The forest is bought together with Den Danske Naturfond (The Danish Nature Fund) and will be safely protected. We hope to make a little difference for biodiversity, water protection and our future.
We’re happy to have saved 400 m² of forest since our premiere in June 2024.
